Note: 1. Admission to M.A. Semesters II/III/IV and MPHIL Semester II courses will
be taken within 21 days of the declaration of earlier Semester results.
2. If any of the above dates fall on a holiday declared/to be declared later, the next working
day shall be taken into account.
3. The above dates are tentative; any change in them will be duly notified.

I. Actual teaching days: First Half :01st July 17 – 28th Oct. 17 = 88 days
Second Half:15th Dec.17 – 23th April 18= 96 days
Total = 184 days
II. Exam and non-instructional days: First Half : 29th Oct 17 – 30th Nov 17 = 33 days
Second Half: 24th April 18 – 19th May 18 = 26 days
Total = 59 days
III Vacation – (8 Weeks): Winter : (two weeks): 1st Dec. 17 – 14th Dec.17
Summer(six weeks): 20th May.18 – 30th June 18
